~ During an asthma attack, the lining of the bronchial tubes ( airway) swells, causing the airway to narrow ,trun more sensitive to irritants in the environment, and thus reducing the flow of air into and out of the lungs.
~ It is probably caused by interplay of hereditary and environmental factors like an inherited tendency to develop allergies called atopy.
~ Children with eczema or food allergy are more likely than other children to develop asthma .

Medical history
Chest xray
Physical examination
Lft
And lab tests
Management:-
Salbutamol
Levo salbutamol and
Terbutaline are utilized in stopping asthma attacks.
Short course of corticosteroid and other drug may be required during acute attacks and are to be used after medical advice only.
